Whilst at University I was doing a lot of reading and being distracted from what I knew was important at that time. I learnt that there are things that are real in this world and things that only seem to have substance, learning to decypher these is important, this is what the work is about. The original was a scraperboard work, this is where you start off black and scratch away the whit. So you work in reverse, a bit of extra planning was necessary for work like this.
