"Was on location in Fremantle with a mate from England called Colin who was a photographer and a fellow mad windsurfer. After taking a lot of images in the area I was struck by this one as it was the old part of The Esplande Hotel and the Old Pearl Building combined with a 1980's VB Holden Commodore and a modern 1990's Toyota Hiace Van. For me it was all about standing the test of time, the beauty and workmanship of the old tradesman and their designs. It captured the true essence of Fremantle with it's lovely ornate and colorful buildings. It was actually my friend Collin's idea for the photo and with his consent I began the work". This image will add some character and soft classical colours to a room or office space.
