Michael work was personally received and praised by two performers he greatly admired, Barbara Streisand and Elvis Presley, Streisand became a collector of his paintings and years later so did Bette Midler who also became a collector of his paintings. Michael also painted the only oil portrait of Elvis and Priscilla during their marriage that was kept in there private room at Graceland.
