Janice Trainer, 1999
Born in Alice Springs in the Northern Territory, Janice Trainer was raised on Murray Downs Station. Interested in art from early childhood, she entered her first competition aged 12, and, to her great surprise, won first prize. Since then she has been a regular entrant in competitions across Australia, and has exhibited in Brisbane and Perth
Janice is self-taught, and her work can often be seen in a variety of restaurants around Claremont and Subiaco. Janice also paints on commission.
